A version of the Nine Planets Event by another shaman, Lakṣmaṇ Kāmī, specifically relates that Mahādev developed leprosy, and that nine lumps of decaying flesh were washed off his body and thrown by Pārvatā into nine springs. Note that in naming the planets, this text mixes together names of what other shamans distinguish as planets and star obstructions.

चारै जुग भयो, चारै मान्दम भयो।
There have been four ages, there have been four worlds.

जुग जेठो सतिजुग भयो,
The eldest age is the Age of Truth,
V1.N218.T1.3.
तिथि जेठा एकादशी भयो,
the eldest lunar day is the Eleventh,
V1.N218.T1.4.
मैना जेठा चैत मैना भयो,
the eldest month is Cait,

बार जेठा आइतबार भयो।
the eldest solar day is Sunday,
V1.N218.T1.6.
धन्न महादेवले भन्न लाग्यो,
Good Mahādev said,

महाकुष्टी आङ हलिकन,
"Having put leprosy on my body,
V1.N218.T1.8.
महादेव नगरीमा घुम्न गया।
Mahādev will wander in the cities."
V1.N218.T1.9.
नगरीमा घुम्न जाँदाखेरिमा,
Going to wander in the cities,
V1.N218.T1.10.
कौन कोरी आयो, कौन काउर्या आयो भनी,
"What leper has come, what cripple has come?" then,
V1.N218.T1.11.
अलख गर्न लाग्यो, बिलख गर्न लाग्यो।
he cried for alms, cried for offerings.
V1.N218.T1.12.
नरनामले भन्न लाग्यो,
The people said,
V1.N218.T1.13.
कोरीकाउर्या आउँदाखेरिमा,
"A crippled leper coming,
V1.N218.T1.14.
अलख बिलख गर्न पर्यो भनी,
there must be alms offered," then,
V1.N218.T1.15.
महादेवले भन्न लागेन।
Mahādev said nothing.
V1.N218.T1.16.
आमा पदुम बाबु यलेनाले भन्न लाग्यो कि,
Mother Padum, Father Yalenā then said,
V1.N218.T1.17.
शिवजीका घरमा गयो।
"He went to Śivajī's house."
V1.N218.T1.18.
शिवजीका घर जाँदाखेरिमा, धन्न पार्वता आइन्।
Going to Śivajī's house, Good Pārvatā came.
V1.N218.T1.19.
पार्वताले भन्न लागिन् कि,
Pārvatā then said,

यिनी महादेव हुन्।
"This is Mahādev.
V1.N218.T1.21.
महादेवले सयरुप गरेका छन,
Mahādev has taken one hundred forms,
V1.N218.T1.22.
सयरुप गर्दाखेरिमा गाउघर नगरीमा घुम्दाखेरिमा,
taking one hundred forms to wander from house to village to city,
V1.N218.T1.23.
कोरीको भेष गरिकन।
he's taken the appearance of a leper.
V1.N218.T1.24.
महादेव घुम्न गया थियो।
Mahādev has gone to wander.
V1.N218.T1.25.
महादेव घुमिकन आँदाखेरिमा शिवजीका घर जानु पर्यो।
Coming to wander Mahādev must have come to Śivajī's house."

शिवजीका घर जाँदाखेरिमा,
Coming to Śivajī's house,
V1.N218.T1.27.
आमा पदुम बाबु यलेनाले भन्यो कि,
Mother Padum, Father Yalenā then said,

धन्न पार्वता जाऊ र नौ काशीको जल ल्याऊ।
"Go, Good Pārvatā, go and fetch water of Nine Holy Places.
V1.N218.T1.29.
नौ काशीको जलले महादेवलाई नुहाउनु पर्यो।
Mahādev must be washed with the water of Nine Holy Places."
V1.N218.T1.30.
नुहाउँदा महादेवका आङबाट उब्ज्यो, नौ डल्ला मयल।
Washing, from Mahādev's body arose, nine lumps of filth.

मयल उब्जाखेरिमा,
The filth arising,
V1.N218.T1.32.
नौ डल्ला मयल पार्वताले रुमालमा तानिन्,
the nine lumps of filth Pārvatā pulled into her towel,
V1.N218.T1.33.
र नौ डल्ला मयल राखिन्।
and she kept the nine lumps of filth.
V1.N218.T1.34.
राख्दाखेरिमा,
Keeping them,
V1.N218.T1.35.
आँगनमा फालूँ भनि,
"If I throw them in the courtyard,
V1.N218.T1.36.
कोरीकाउर्या टेक्ला।
crippled lepers will touch them.
V1.N218.T1.37.
दुवाँदोबाटा फालूँ भनि,
If I throw them at Haunted Crossroads,
V1.N218.T1.38.
चल्लो कुखुरो टेक्ला।
chickens and roosters will touch them.
V1.N218.T1.39.
नौ डल्ला मयल कहाँ फालूँ, भन्दा,
Where can I throw the nine lumps of filth?" saying,

शिवजीले भन्या कि,
Śivajī then said,

जाऊ पार्वता जाऊ, र तिमीले नौ मूलमा फाल।
"Go, Good Pārvatā, you go and throw them in nine springs."
V1.N218.T1.42.
नौ मूलमा फाल्दाखेरिमा नौ ग्रह उत्पन्न भयो।
Throwing them in nine springs, the nine planets arose.

छन्चर्या खड्गो, बन्चर्या खड्गो,
Saturn Conjunction, Axe Conjunction,

राहु केतु उल्का सङ्कस्ट,
Rāhu, Ketu, "Comet," "Saturn,"

जरम खड्गो, मरम खड्गो,
Birth Conjunction, Death Conjunction,

मैना खड्गो, बर्ष खड्गो,
Month-long Conjunction, Year-long Conjunction,

नौ खड्गा उत्पन्न भयो।
Nine Conjunctions arose.

उत्पन्न हुँदाखेरिमा, महादेवलाई नुहाउनु पर्यो।
Having arisen, Mahādev had to wash.

उनको काया उज्जल गरौं, कर्म उज्जल गरौं, भन्दाखेरिमा,
"Clean his body, clean his fate," saying,
V1.N218.T1.50.
नौ काशीको जल ल्याइन् र नुहाइन्।
she brought water of Nine Holy Places and washed him.
V1.N218.T1.51.
सुरातिनी बामन डाकिन्।
She summoned a Spoon-using Brāhman.
V1.N218.T1.52.
सुरातिनी बामन आया र तिल जौं पोल्या,
The Spoon-using Brāhman came and toasted mustard and barley,

अबिस गर्या।
scattered a blessing.
V1.N218.T1.54.
कानचीरा जोगी आया,
A split-ear yogin came,
V1.N218.T1.55.
नङसरा जोगी आया,
a long nailed yogin came,
V1.N218.T1.56.
भगतवाला जोगी आया,
an ash covered yogin came,
V1.N218.T1.57.
ज्ञानी जोगी आया, ध्यानी जोगी आया,
a learned yogin came, a trained yogin came.
V1.N218.T1.58.
तिनी जोगीको ओइरन क्या भयो, पहिरन क्या भयो।
In what did these yogins wrap, what did they wear?
V1.N218.T1.59.
शिर लाया बाघम्बरको छाला,
Wore on the head, a tiger's skin,
V1.N218.T1.60.
गली बेर्या रुद्राक्षको माला,
slung around the neck a rudrākṣa necklace,
V1.N218.T1.61.
कान लाया दर्शनजोली,
wore on the ear a large pendant,
V1.N218.T1.62.
हात समात्या बज्रठिङ्गा।
held in the hand a thunderbolt staff.
V1.N218.T1.63.
आँदाखेरिमा जोगीलाई दान दिइन्।
Coming, she gave donations to the yogins,

भिक्षा दिया,
he gave them alms,
V1.N218.T1.65.
काया उज्जल गर्या, कर्म उज्जल गर्या।
his body was cleansed, his karma was cleansed.
V1.N218.T1.66.
सुरातिनी बामनले तिल जौं गर्या,
The Spoon-using Brāhman scattered mustard and barley,
V1.N218.T1.67.
हुम गज्जे गर्या।
prepared a place for a hom sacrifice.
V1.N218.T1.68.
हुम गज्जे फाल्दाखेरिमा,
Practicing the hom sacrifice,
V1.N218.T1.69.
काया उज्जल गर्या, कर्म उज्जल गर्या।
his body was cleansed, his karma was cleansed.
V1.N218.T1.70.
नौ काशीको जलले नुहाउँदाखेरिमा,
Washing in water of Nine Holy Places,
V1.N218.T1.71.
महादेवको मिठो निन्द्र भयो।
Mahādev had a sweet sleep.

कुष्टी हटन गयो।
The leprosy was removed.

हुँदाखेरिमा,
As it happened,
V1.N218.T1.74.
धन्न महादेव, धन्न पार्वता,
"Good Mahādev, Good Pārvatā,
V1.N218.T1.75.
तिमीलाई सम्पूर्ण हुन जाओस्,
may all go well with you,"
