Note 198:

Śiva Bahādur claimed that Karṇa Vīr taught him this mantar to use to "cut" another shaman's costume. Karṇa Vīr also had another version:

Text V1.N198.T1

V1.N198.T1.1.
Fierce enemy, fierce enemy,

V1.N198.T1.2.
mischievous enemy,

V1.N198.T1.3.
that seat's forces blocking, familiars blocking,

V1.N198.T1.4.
break abruptly its iron chain,

V1.N198.T1.5.
your heart killing,

V1.N198.T1.6.
your costume I force into the earth!

There is untranslatable wordplay in both versions on bir, a type of familiar (see note š43), and birā, the shaman's wooden stool.
