Narsiṅgh jap This is named after the most powerful of the familiar spirits known as "bir." (See note 43.) This text summons Narsiṅgh Warrior, who physically protects the shaman during the ceremony that follows. The text threatens ghosts, teases other shamans for having fragile equipment and little power, and praises the guru of the present shaman.
