Note 11:

Śrīkhaṇḍ cuwā candan (frequently in conjunction with malāyāgirī) candan is high quality white sandalwood. Śrīkhaṇḍ refers (at least in local usage) to it being powdered, while Malāyāgirī refers to a mountain range in India famous for its sandalwood. cuwā is another kind of tree (identified by Shrestha 1984:28 as Phlogacanthus thyrsiflorus), seemingly out of place here: Karṇa Vīr thought it was used only as a jingle word for candan.
